A message from Artistic Directors, Otis Cook and Faith Pilger

We would like to start by thanking the Princess Grace Foundation for honoring us this year with a Special Project Grant. This award has allowed us to begin production of GRIMM, a collaboration between Fearliss Productions and Movement Under Development (M.U.D.)

In addition to this project, we are also keeping busy with our work as dancers, choreographers and teachers. Recently, this has included:

Appearing as dancers in Julie Taymor's new film, "Across the Universe", choreographed by Daniel Ezralow (Scheduled for release in theaters, Thanksgiving 2006!)

Choreographing and touring with Pilobolus, The PERKS and Jordana Toback's "POON"

Choreographing LunaTick, a duet for Momix's new evening-length production, Lunar Sea

Teaching through Jacob's Pillow and The Learning Corridor

Creating and performing the new Transformer Team act for Pcult

Training private clients in pilates and physical training

Working as a naturalist/teacher at Great Hollow YMCA camp

Raising Maxwell B. Raven Cook, a 5-year-old superhero

and much, much more...

We are:

Rehearsing in New York City and Kent, Connecticut!

Gathering and creating text!

Creating costumes, props and puppets!

Hanging from the rafters, as we train in aerial silk!

Working with our composer/musicians on original music for GRIMM!

Taking photos in the wild, woodlands of Connecticut with Robert
Whitman for a GRIMM art book!
